Well I booked a flight to Maryland in order to help my cousin move. I haven't flown in a few years so I'm actually kind of excited. The flight down there's only about an hour and fifteen minutes. I forgot how fast flying is.
I've never booked a flight online so the task was a little daunting, but my other cousin Amy was nice enough to give me a hand. We checked out expedia and orbitz and from there we settled on Southwest Airlines. I'm really looking forward to the trip. Should be a nice diversion from the normal routine.

Southwest is definitely one of the more fun airlines, which is interesting because they are also one of the cheapest. Its also interesting because they are doing well financially the last time I checked.
Flying can be a lot faster - but it does take time to go through all the security check points. If the last time you flew was before 2001-09-11, then you might be surprised at how much more security there is. It goes without saying, but I'm glad its there.
Back to the speed - it takes almost eight hours to drive the distance you're going in 1.25 hours. Yeah, its definitely worth it.
